Re: Video full screen between chunks

Just wondering if there's any update to this? I was planning to using DP for the same thing… But not if it doesn't work. :)

Vamping

Just doing some fact checking here. Is the only way to vamp to use memory cycle? Obvious memory cycle works but it won't keep playing audio when you need to leave the vamp. I'd like to be able to seamlessly go in and out of a vamp while playing audio. Any tips on how to do this? Thanks!!!

No Crossfades when loading chunks

Got a problem that I hope isn't bug in DP. I frequently load chunks into other files to make things easy for playing live. I just noticed that my crossfades no longer exist when I load a chunk into a new file. My fades are all there but if I have two adjacent soundbites with a crossfade, that crossf...

The file didn't crash while I was working. It was actually quite stable. I might try trashing my preferences and then disconnecting my vienna key so that VSL doesn't load during the AU check.

I do have a backup so it was only hours of work that I lost not many days of work. I tried opening from a different drive but same problem. The only thing new is VSL however other files with VSL still open fine including my backup version of the file I lost. Same number of instances of VSL in the ba...

The file won't open at all. I get the error message when trying to open it. It also won't load the chunk from another file and I can't import any audio because all my work had been MIDI.

Preventing Error 103

I just got an error=103 message when trying to open a project I've been working on. It's a project with a several instances of VSL and a bunch of MIDI feeding VSL. After some searching here and trying a couple things it seems my file is corrupted. That really hurt because I lost many hours of work. ...

In the preferences, you can send an audio click to a bus. Then set the bus to the input of a track and record.

Aside from the audio bundles, both 4.61 and 5.11 work fine for you on the same partition?

4.61 and 5.12?

I've just spent a while searching for an answer to this and couldn't come across something that specifically answered my question. Sorry if I missed it somewhere. I use DP 4.61 live for backing tracks for a church and would like to upgrade to 5.12...finally. However, I'd like to be able to keep a wo...

Thanks for the replies. I am using all my tracks live. I had read some other posts saying that adjusting the master fader messed with the sound quality. I'm sure you wouldn't be able to tell this difference live, but I'd still like to keep things as high quality as possible. Thanks again.

Activity Monitor

First, I've been a lurker here for a while and I've really appreciated the info and tips from you guys. Some of them have saved me or gotten me out of a lot of grief. I've been having troubles with cpu spikes that are similar, I'm guessing, to what some others have had. I've gone through the tip lis...
