For what it worth you can use Latch mode on any oscillator including the default sample playback. It's just that the slice oscillator display it directly in its interface. Just go to the List View, in the Keygroup column view, right click the header to display the latch column then change its value....

1) Yes. Still you need to understand the difference with per Voice FX and global FX. Global FX can be modulated with LFO but not ADSR as there is no trigger/release logic.
Some FX do not support smooth modulation for some parameters, Reverb time is one example.

Probably because it's not supported in the IRCAM Stretch oscillator.

Duplicate your sample, print the xFade, then switch to the IRCAM Stretch oscillator.

This is a false positive in Avira related to PACE Eden protection.
Avira uses heuristic based detection to determine virus and not an actual signature which leads to some false positive.

Pace are already aware of it and have contacted Avira about it AFAIK

Convert is a drag n drop button which create a M5 program so you can either DnD it on the Desktop or to another M5 part.
