I've been looking at a Mac Mini M2 Pro with 16 GB of ram. Would 16 GB be enough? Some projects have 25 to 35 tracks with sometimes 3 to 5 virtual instruments. Using quite a few plugins when it comes to mixing and mastering. Finally moving on from my mid 2010 Mac Pro. Any words of advice are welcome....

Looking on the Lexicon site, it seems they are Intel compatible only. No mention of M1 versions yet.

Most likely the cause of this problem Is an Apple Security update, if you are on Sierra. It hoses some plugins, but not all. Oddly enough it does not affect any plugins in Logic. I had been dismissing the update, but somehow it happened. Bad on Apple and Motu, this sort of thing should not happen.

I am having a similar problem with plugins, and similar Mas error message. Quite a few plugins will not load and now fail AU examination. Thanks for the replies. I don't think I will try connecting my iPhone till I upgrade to High Sierra.

Am I the only one who remembers this problem. I have not connected my iPhone, via USB, to my MacPro since this issue occurred. Has nobody installed High Sierra with the firmware update, and booted to a Sierra OS on another drive ? Will Sierra still work after the firmware update?

I remember sometime ago that physically connecting your iPhone to a Mac could hose Motu plugins. Is this still a problem or have updates corrected this? One other question. Does the firmware update update for High Sierra negate going back to Sierra? I know I'm a bit behind the times.

Archetype Nolly works fine for me on 10.13. Did nothing special to get it working, normal install.

Tried this automation trick, and it always sets the track volume to zero, not what the track was actually set at. Not working for me either.

Not a fan of curved monitors. I tried a 32” Samsung curved. Took it back the same day. Made me feel ill in matter of minutes. Really bothered my eyes.

Option A let’s you assign ins and outs for tracks you have highlighted all at once.

Just had a crash on open yesterday with DP 10.11. After re booting DP, my open recent list was blank and preferences were reset. Has anyone else seen this? Are preference files recoverable? Where are they located?

Thanks for the replies. It looks like you have to install High Sierra first which installs the firmware update. I am currently running Sierra. Considering updating to High Sierra or possibly Mojave. I have a mid 2010 Mac Pro. Any suggestions or warnings?

If you download DP 10 from the link at the top of the page, you will indeed get DP10.11(83650).
