Re: How many 5.13 people waiting to upgrade?

Still using 5.13 here. Waiting for that one more upgrade to DP6 that will get it running at least as reliably as 5.13 has been for me.

Re: DP Pitch correction produces POP

Pitch correction also working quite well here, as long as it is not too close to an edit with a cross fade. In which case I will do merges before correcting pitch.

Beware POD Farm 1.03 update!

This update breaks POD Farm plug in, at least in DP 5.13. It did work in stand alone mode. Oddly enough the update did work properly in Logic 8.02. I have since back tracked to the previous version of POD Farm and the driver as well and everything is working again. Strange that it worked in Logic an...

Mac Mini?

Is anyone using a newer mac mini (intell) with DP 5.13, and if so what sort of performance are you getting out of it? Is it a viable machine to do audio recording and editing on?

Thanks for any info!

I posted this question at Logic Pro Help and finally got a solution. You have to drag the loops over the Finder in the Dock, then place them on the arrange page. It really works! How unintuitive is that.

This is probably not very scientific but I just did a bit of a comparison between Dp 5.13 and Logic 8.01. I OMF'ed a Dp project into Logic. In both programs I muted all stereo tracks to eliminate any panning differences, all mono tracks panned to the centre, all tracks levels set to 0.0. Very bad so...

Drag and drop in Logic?

I've only had Logic 8 for short time and just recently tried to drag & drop audio loops from Ethno onto the arrange area of Logic and the loops wont go there. Tried creating mono and stereo tracks for them and nothing happens. Is this a problem with Logic or am I just missing something. Thanks f...

I just tried enabling built in outs on my Mac Pro and once that is done I cannot select built in inputs, which I never use anyway. I also could not add an input under bundles. Only input busses are available. Seems a bit strange.

Built in input ?

A friend of mine just got a Mac Book and I was trying to help him set up DP5.12 on it. Can you not access the built in inputs of the Mac Book? I set the driver to built in outputs and also selected the built in ins and outs of the Audio MIDI Setup. No built in inputs are available in DP. Only the bu...
