Thanks for replying. I've tried with both firewire power and the mains power..same result.
Also, I've tried adjusting the Logic buffer settings.

Traveler + Logic 8 + Macbook + Leopard = fan noise!!
Hey folks - been a while since I posted here. I've been running a macbook with the latest version of Mac 10.5.1, Logic 8 (latest version) and a MOTU Traveler (latest drivers) It's a great combination..however: Since upgrading to Leopard, using Logic with the Traveler results in the MB fans spooling ...

..does, and Mach5 V2 will be based on the same engine, so good news. Don't know about Refills though.

Just a quick wander off topic... Chrispick, flashgerkin etc.. Have you had the 'missing samples' bug with the PSP? It affects a few of the urban drum kit patches - when loading the program, the plugin reports missing samples. A couple of people on another forum have posted this issue too, but I'm gue...

Re: SOS introduces Plugsound Pro: The Missing Instrument
Why not just post what excites you? Anything at all. Machy clues and speculations take priority, of course. Well, well. If we're into rampant speculation, then here's mine! The following is all based on the features in Plugsound Pro. 1. FX All those in M5 V1, plus a whole load of new stuff includin...

Re: SOS introduces Plugsound Pro: The Missing Instrument
Am happy to answer anything. Any particular questions? Bets on that most of the tech in PSP applies to M5 VII.monkey man wrote: Thanks for the impressions, alexff; keep 'em coming if you can...

Yep - just got the Plugsound Pro yesterday. Was toying with the idea of getting it, and the SOS bit tipped me over. First impressions? Excellent. This will keep me going for some time yet. The sounds are generally very good - some excellent pianos, kits, guitars. The orchestral sounds appear to be t...

my source said at NAMM that indeed it is in the works and will have a BIG library. will work with Ethno, PSP sounds etc... So, in other words, Plugsound Pro with more extensive sample import/manipulation. That's no bad thing. But I was about to put my pounds into a copy of plugsound pro, and now I'...

You know, PSP looks phenomenal. It looks so phenomenal that it renders M5v2 almost moot. One thing at first glance which is not mentioned is 5:1, but I'm still searching. I know. I'm trying to think of reasons not to buy it. It's been sometime since a new plugin has perked up my attention so much. ...

I would say bets on for a Mach 5 V2 announcment at NAMM. Why? Because the new plugsound pro module looks very similar, uses the same technology and (I think) is developed by (some?) of the same people who do the MOTU stuff. The plugsound pro module also has most of of the features as originaly toute...

Should we assume Machy made it to the final cut? Unless it was somehow specified, I wouldn't. The fella could've been mocking stuff up, doodling or even testing a new toy... Dang, who believes a promotional music clip's depiction of instruments used? Why should a film's bonus/extra/gratis promotion...

Eh? Not sure if this thread is supposed to be a joke? Had mine for ages. MOTU sent all registered M5 users an e-mail with a link to upgrade to version 2 in August. You guys obviously didn't get it. There's also a beta copy of version three available from the site. Looks like a giant version of nanos...
